In a time before Facebook and Twitter, 12:20 created SuperVirals, a pioneering digital platform for brands to leverage consumer-generated content.
We pitched the concept to venture capital firms and landed over $800,000 in seed funding to develop a prototype website and hire a start-up team.
The beta website operated for around two years and attracted brands including VB, nudie, 3 mobile, Krispy Kreme and Mambo.
The concept generated hours of entertaining branded content and design work for its clients, as well as attracting a highly-engaged audience to the unique content.
It was voted as one of the hottest start-up ventures by BRW magazine and achieved enormous cut-through in the media industry.
